BUY-A-NET Malaria Prevention Group is a volunteer registered charitable organization with a mission to prevent and treat malaria, one village at a time.

In partnership with community based groups, long-lasting insecticide treated bed nets and anti-malaria medicines are distributed free-of-charge, saving lives from malaria, one village at a time.

The night a net is hung, lives are saved.

Why are we interested in the work of BUY-A-NET?

We became involved with BUY-A-NET through our former employee Nancy Stevens. Nancy began working for us as a high school student and was involved with our studio for over 15 years. In fact we lovingly refer to her as "the daughter we never had".

Nancy has been a part of the BUY-A-NET program for over three years. She is now the Project Co-ordinator of the group and spent a month in Uganda in the fall of 2007, distributing nets and providing educational support for the BUY-A-NET recipients. Nancy's photographic and artistic skills have also been valuable for the program. BUY-A-NET's website has many of her photographs from the trip to enhance their message. Nancy's 'heart of gold', enthusiasm and terrific people skills have, and will continue to be a big part of the huge success of BUY-A-NET's efforts in saving lives in Uganda.
