These two Images were Accepted into the Professional Photographers of Canada 2008 Image Competition

"Intensity" Roger created this portrait of Morgan (our Goldendoodle) on his first birthday. How did we get that intense look? Lianne had a cookie behind the main light. (Ah, anything for food!)

"Spring Rush" This pictorial image was taken at the five-span bridge in Pakenham. To capture the rushing flow of the water, Roger used a slow shutter speed (1/4 sec) to allow the moving water to blur and to heighten the illusion of speed. The detail of the stonework was further enhanced by applying a watercolour style texture. Photographic prints of this image including the mat are available for $95.00

Roger has taken an active role in the professional photographic community, having held numerous executive positions including President of PPO in 1995 and 1996. He and Lianne regularly attend conventions and educational seminars to stay current with new trends and technologies. Roger is a nationally accredited photography judge and continues to enter print competitions as a way of keeping a keen edge on his photographic skills.
