Great portraits ­ the ones that bring a smile to your face or perhaps even a tear to the eye happen because we plan it that way!! Whether it's a newborn infant, a hyperactive three-year-old, a shy teen-ager, a middle-aged couple with their dogs, or your grandparents' golden anniversary ­ we guarantee FUN and a great portrait.! We take time with all our clients ­ making sure they're comfortable and relaxed during their portrait session. There are many possible locations at our on-site outdoor portrait area. We also have our indoor studio area if weather is a concern or the studio style of portrait is wanted. Many of the portraits we create are done "On Location". This is usually a special place that has significance for the people involved. Cottages, boats, a hunting camp, park or the living room or garden of the family home are all favourite locations that make the portrait that much more meaningful. Roger's abilities as an amateur comedian and his Master of Photographic Arts skills means that our clients often tell us "there are so many good ones"

A la Carte

We charge a "Creation Fee" (starting at $80.00) based on the complexity of your requirements. This creation fee includes a pre-portrait clothing consultation and a private viewing session where we help you to choose your final images. Finished portrait images are purchased on an individual basis, with a discount for quantity purchases.

Portrait Collections

These collections include a creation fee and a set number of portrait images. Some collections also include frames and or folios. These collections are great for Family Gatherings or Reunions.

Family Plans & Baby Bundles

Family Plans are a great way to ensure that top quality portraits are created on a regular basis as your family grows. Family Plans include a yearly portrait session and an album for your images (starting at $350.00 for 6 annual sessions and an album). Images you purchase are discounted from our regular price list. We like to think of this as our "Young Family Discount" as opposed to a "Senior Discount" that is commonly offered.

Business Portriats

Business Portraits are usually done at the studio, but they can be done on location. Our Business Portrait Base Package is $110 and includes the creation fee at the studio, a 300 dpi digital file suitable for providing to printers for business cards, brochures and other advertising.

Grad Portraits

Grad Portriats are often disappointing from the "school photographer". We offer private, relaxed sessions at the studio that create better images because we can take the time with each client. We have a black Grad gown and several high school grad collars in stock. We also have a University style collar for University or College grads. 	Gatherings Click here for more images Whether it's a family reunion, a major birthday celebration or a milestone anniversary, we always enjoy being the 'official' photographer to capture this special family time. We work hand-in-hand with our clients planning the portrait session. This preliminary work guarantees a result that will make these images family heirlooms!
Children Click here for more images The youngest child we have photographed was less than 24 hours old and the portrait was created in the maternity suite of the hospital. Over the years we have had a great deal of fun with children and created some wonderful images that have thrilled parents and grandparents! Every child is different and our approach is flexible, allowing each child to shine on their own.
	Couples Click here for more images This type of portrait is very popular The reason could be an engagement, an anniversary or 'just because we love each other'! Our outdoor portrait park is frequently used as the location, although our classic indoor studio is preferred by some clients.
Families Click here for more images At Arranel Studios Ltd. our aim is to bring a smile to the face of anyone who sees one of our family portraits. Whether at the studio or at a location that's special to the family, these portraits become treasured family keepsakes for years to come.
	People and Their Animals Click here for more images We love creating portraits of people and their pets. One of our most challenging experiences was a family of four adult women with their parents and nine dogs. Roger has a bag of tricks that usually manages to get the best expression from humans and animals alike. While the majority of work is usually done outdoors, we do find that cats are more comfortable in a quieter studio setting (unless they are bona fide outdoor/barn cats).
